Some highlighted bullet points found below the video;
- Angels can, and will spawn at random intervals ANYWHERE ingame (subject to change with Beta testing)
- If caught by an Angel, player is spatially relocated elsewhere with all inventory items dropped on the spot (can later be reclaimed... providing the player remembers where they were attacked)
- Angel encounters trigger, not unlike all other creature encounters, after their introductory quest... (spoilers)
This Tech Demo highlights the initial mid-development point of the Angels in Fallout Who Vegas and how you'll randomly come across them in the Wasteland in completely randomly spawned, non scripted encounters.

This looks amazing!
How did you do this? This is amazing! What if you are looking at them in third person, with the cam looking behind you. Can you be attacked while the tardis is in mid-flight? That would cause problems with not being able to get back on the ship. I guess everyone should store some backup screwdrivers in an apartment.
They Look great, i don't know how i feel about losing all my stuff if they get me though... could cause some problems, not to mention anger, allot of anger lol but i can see why to make them feel more like a threat ... but this isn't minecraft, some stuff is very hard to get, some inpossible to re-find if we cant remember where we were at the time of being attacked,oh my im all over the place with this lol and them on the tardis i don't how to feel about that either lmao
It's done with a lot of smoke and mirrors. There's still a bit of refinement to do first (when they appear, how fast they move, the actual damage they incur etc), but the payoff is worth it.
Glad you're impressed, I can confirm it's suitably terrifying.
Looks neat. Just imagine sonicing yourself into a room and sucking your thumb until the encounter's over.
Or dumping landmines around them and legging it.
Ooh, Project Nevada's helmet overlays limiting your vision of the angels! That'd be scary.
Looks brilliant. Random question, do they only target you, or are NPCs also hunted?
One thing that's always confused me about the angels though - how do you kill a stone?
Dynamite. Lots of dynamite.
It's about time for some nitro 9.
oh no... dear gods.... why??? why would you do this? oh well, it looks to be amazing. i can guarantee a good bit of fear coming along in the near future of my FWV playing. Doctor help us!

My reaction to this news.
Wicked cool!! I, too, am curious. Although I always play in first person. I know my roomie always plays in third person. How would that affect the angels?
It doesn't :) Short answer
are indestructible then? i know the doctor never would but the sonic has been used on settings like resonate concrete (maybe theres a simular frequency that could crack stone and subsequently hurt them (this is more of a suggestion for the laser screwdriver or evil timelords
I hope the item drop its transfered to a container rather than havok drop them on the floor, aside from ctd issues that would make recovery a nightmare due to npcs having a habit of niking things, and thias doesnt include clothing does it?
Nice!
As for killing a stone...
"When in doubt... C-4."
If that doesn't work, well, that's why I walk around with a Laser Screwdriver up my sleeve.
Is it possible to have them in different states, other than covering their eyes? i.e with their fangs out and claws coming towards you.
Is that at all possible? I was just wondering because that will add a whole new level to the scariness of these monsters.
Just to be clear, I love what you have done so far with them, and am very impressed with your work. This is only a suggestion and in no way saying your work so far is bad. It's absolutely amazing.
Hi Avenger, they do change pose as of the latest build, depending on distance to you.
Ah that's great! Fantastic job!
… Sometimes I regret loving the show… This is one of this moments caused by pure terror
