An update. 50 comments on the prior post and a wavering reflection of opinion was an enjoyable read upon my return from the holidays yesterday afternoon.
Even to those that have been frustrated at the lack of a Beta materialisation, thanks for your restrain.
The best way to describe the last month would be communicable to yourselves in a Who like fashion;
it's like touching down in the TARDIS on a completely random planet. You don't know whats outside the door, or whats going to happen. Replace the terrible Zodin and a multitude of alien footservants with tinfoil guns for a 900 mile round trip, a wedding, 3 family visits and 2 minutes to catch ones breath inbetween, and you get the picture.
We've had no time to reflect on the mod in the past 2 weeks, an it was a hastily optimistic to even contemplate doing so.
I apologise for this, as I've made the age old mistake of delivering a promise that couldn't be kept I'm afraid.
Be rest assured though, that you will get what you're after in due course, I just ask for a little patience and understanding. No more promises, no more definite/approximated dates. Just the simple word we all learnt as children which isn't only ambiguous, but indeed conclusive; soon.
Both Spyduck and I will be picking up the pace in the coming week to finalise the 'pretty' of the TARDIS. The 'engine' has been fully scripted and tested to a moderate degree, all locations have been incorporated and the Piloting tree completed.
It's imperative that we find the right balance between healthy progress on a project of this magnitude, something I have personally (and to great, great annoyance of my far better half) commited years to. I don't reap payment, and have suffered great criticism for it throughout the process.
But hang tight. It's coming.
A very prosperous and happy new year to you all,
Kris, Joe & Scott
