An update

Hi all,

well it's been a while since I last updated. What have I been doing y'all wondering? Well, to be honest, not a fat lot.

I've been over-consumed with working (sods have got me working dodgy hours), and by the time I come home in the evening, the last thing I want to do is sit in front of a laptop for a further few hours.

More importantly though, I havent been playing New Vegas for a very specific reason; my laptop doesn't like it.

Now my laptop could run FO3 relatively well, without lagging or overly necessary drop in graphics. But New Vegas, different kettle of fish.

I've set the graphics to lowest, even put it in windowed mode, and still I get a really choppy frame rate whenever I'm around smoke effects.

It's to the point now where I'm thinking of giving up with the bloody laptop version and retiring to rent it on the 360.

Either way, Fallout Who's winter clothes are on and it's having a bit of a kip.

I've got various other projects I'd really like to work on, in and out of the Fallout engine, but I'll keep you all updated as soon as I feel confident enough to give some positive info.
