Out of Time and it's many subquests...

After a long week of manflu, gruelling overtime in the Office and unusual weather, all I want to do come 5.30pm GMT today is slob out in the pub, but no, I tell myself, Fallout Who waits for no man.

Development news wise, over the past few weeks things have stuttered slightly. We've suffered the loss of one of our modellers, but have been rewarded with determined commitment from Spyduck, who's done an absolutely outstanding turnout on some of the creature models (expect another Monster Profile you've all been expecting very soon).

As Spyduck whittles away at what is to be frank, an incredibly heavy duty workload, I've been hammering away at the carcass of the main Quest, an adventure that takes you from the sands of the Mojave to the far reaches of the Rockies and beyond.

What can I tell you? I can let you know that facing the Weeping Angels is an entirely new (and terrifying!) mechanic incorporated through FVNSE. Surround sound and loud volumes are a sheer necessity when encountering...

I can also tell you that through sheer Moffat inspired storytelling, things aren't what they seem from the start, so look out for clues, and the odd red herring...

The structure of the main Quest runs in a similar vain to that of Fallout. There's one constant story running alongside you're freedom of action. The main quest is split up into a series of 3 acts, and each act heralds progressive stages for the next.

Away from the mainquest, a lot of people have been asking what exactly there will be to encounter in the project. Its been teased and hinted there's much more to do than meets the eye, and I'm happy to give you some samples of what to expect. Bear in mind that at current, these subquest titles are all completely Temporary.

- Subquest List -

- Plastic Fantastic, You Will Be Like Us, Fallout Who & The Lizardmen

I'll be running a feature on the subquests as development on these begins, but to hint at what's to come, consider plenty of dungeon trawling with a collectable twist, a couple of unique puzzles and a handful of brilliant rewards.

So, that's it for now with a brief teaser.

This weekend, I shall be focusing on fine tuning the first act of the main quest, allowing us to progress with playtesting. As usual, keep in touch via the comments field, the forums and our YT channel.

In my oppinion and not only mine, I belive that it would be better to release the mod in seperate parts.
You just mentioned that the main quest will consist of 3 parts.
Why not make them in the form of 3 episodes. This way people will be able to play a lot sooner and you'll have more development time.

Afraid not, we're not believers in episodic content and want the player to have full access to the story from the off.

Demmegy, I am one of a lot that have stayed delightfully by your side since the announcement of this project and I want you to know. I would be happy and willing to wait more than a year ,Maybe even many years for your project and I greatly believe that others would do the same. Keep up the amazing work meow! ;D
