Well, it's been another week and not much productivity. Poor Spyduck was stranded due to the terrible Hurricane sweeping the East Coast of the USA this week, but hopefully he'll be back home and up and running on production in no time.
I've been tied down with a heavy duty workload, and along with moving home, haven't had an opportunity to really focus on project work.
On top of this, the core project files will be making a transition from my dodgy old laptop in the coming weeks to my rebuilt desktop, which, should prevent any more heatdeath failures (etc - I shan't bother you with the mundane details).
However, with all these drawbacks, I bring you news. As indicated, big plans had been set for the project to change direction, and after having discussions with Spyduck one night, we decided to focus the quest on a more linear path.
The main bulk of the adventure will see you penetrate the depths of the mysterious Charlotte House, coming across the many foes identified to date (plus a few more sneeky cameos), in a bid to reach the Data Crypt, a pre-war data repository and claim the ultimate reward.
Unique puzzles (from Gravity Gates to Temporal Portals) will block your path, and the choices you make will represent the consequences and turn out of your adventure through space, and time.
We'll be drip feeding info on this new unique direction over the coming months, and the most exciting news I'm wanting to divulge is the inevitable release date.
Now nothing, has been set in stone, but we're aiming (for a currently) feasible, Christmas 2011 release date.
So stay tuned.
