Read the Readme. I implore, Read the readme. I won't be giving any other advice other than that.

The readme?

Read it

Liam said...

I'm crying from happiness.

Cookiemorph said...

Kris, i have read the readme and i now have a missing mesh. I installed everything fine as far as i can tell. Copied it all into the data folder, enabled both the esm and esp in FOMM, but the missing mesh is directly under the console. I assume it's the console box that i have to replace the power cell in?

Anonymous said...

Thanks a lot for all your hard work Dmeggy, Kris & Spyduck.

Kris said...

Its the bloody Artron Capacitor, Ive just uploaded it now. Please download and place accordingly

Cookiemorph said...

Alright thanks, and thanks again for the quick response :D Enjoying it very much so far!

Kris said...

Thanks :) How embarassing... well something had to go wrong, lol

Cookiemorph said...

Does it go in the controls folder?

Kris said...

Kris said...

Apologies. I'd edit the Main file but it'd nacker the stats on the download...

Unknown said...

thank you guys sooo much for this :) good work now take a dam brake that's a order :p

Anonymous said...

When I try placing the Artron Capacitor mesh of says adding to RAR files of not supported I don't know what to do

Cookiemorph said...

Umm, where is the power cell box? Is it the thing under the console with the engraved plate on it? Because if so, i cannot 'use' it, despite already having the power cell. I can't remember what the note said lol.

An Avid Fan. said...

It said place it under the console in the box, I am having that problem too.
Where was the power cell all I picked up in the workshop was the book, the note and the dematerialization circuit?

Cwang92 said...

Well... it seems that my computer has made a (suspicously) miraculous recovery. It still sounds like a wheezing, sick dog when it turns on.. but its stopped crashing for now! And best of all, all my files are still intact so I've just taken to downloading the mod! Can't wait to play! It's a Fallout Who miracle!

Kris said...

Glad to hear it Cwang :)

An Avid Fan. said...

To anyone who cant open the box under the console, try opening it via something on the console.

Cwang92 said...

....Aaanndd I celebrated too soon.

Liam said...

Oh man, Cwang that really sucks =/ All the best for fixing it!

Cwang92 said...

Thank you Liam. But I'm done with trying to fix it... It's done, and dead. I'm just going to have to save up alongside trying to pay for my university classes next semester, and whatever money I don't use, that will go into my new best friend. And the current PC that I have will have to suffer for its crimes in an open field while I sledgehammer it to death... I'm sorry. It really annoys me.

Liam said...

I partially know how you feel, I installed F:WV, launched the game, started a new save and BAM crashed. Now I'm resorting to trying Windows Update to fix my problems.

Kris said...

Gutted mate, of all the people I was hoping to get their mits on it today, you were the one. Oh well, it's not going anywhere :)

Kris said...

Liam, you are using NVSE aren't you?

Cwang92 said...

On the plus side... I got to see most of the corridors and a bit of the dark console room (before my computer gave me the blue screen of death)... And it looked amazing! Really, all the hype and conversation from the forum has really given me a penny-pinching inspiration. Just can't wait for the first official Lets play.. I messaged Alchestbreach about a month ago about this mod.. Hoping he didn't get annoyed and will play through the quest with all his commentary humor!

Kris said...

Alchestbreach eh? Will have to look him up :)

If anyone does a Letsplay, I'd love to see it

Liam said...

Yeah Kris, I do have it installed, it's a problem with my computer I believe, as I've stripped the game down to just the core game itself, still doesn't run properly, so I'm suspecting it's that cheeky little "Windows 7 Service Pack 1" download that's been resting in my Windows Update for god knows how long.

Anonymous said...

i installed it works fine but when i was failing hardcore on my first flight (the 3rd one i did it right) it went into slow mo and it would not stop but after i reloaded the save it did not happen again

Liam said...

Decided to fresh install my F:NV, which is unfortunate, high hopes for the game up and running for a session tomorrow night after school! :D

Anonymous said...

Love this mod. Advice for replacing the power cell. Pull the big red lever on the console, called Engine release. This will expose the components in the box. Replace the red tube.

Tarminuus said...

Excellent. Perfect. Flawless Victory. 10/10.

Anonymous said...

The glitch that makes you unable to see your tardis, when you say it cant be fixed do you mean it cant be fixed by the person playing or did you mean that you just cant fix it?

Jakeman said...

I crashed the TARDIS upon first launch. I don't know whether to be proud or sad. She's repairing right now.

Kris, I love you for this. <3

Anonymous said...

(Just to make my last post, that was addressed to any developer of the mod...)

An Avid Fan. said...

Love it, its great never get bored of flying it. Must have done it 12 times by now. Got to say though flying the coral version is much harder, probably because its bigger.

Now my tardis is invisible, oh well I will pretend its not a bug and that its the TARDIS cloak in effect.

Nice work. Kris, Spyduck and whoever else that was involved in creating this should be very proud.

Now to find that Sonic Screwdriver.

Anonymous said...

I wish my computer wasn't so laggy I keep crashing because of it:(

Anonymous said...

to get the sonic you have to open the trunk with your stuff you will get a boox in your aid on items click on it on you will get a thing to make the sonic

Anonymous said...

Where's the key

Anonymous said...

The key is giving to you upon successful first flight. Just wondering, where do I find the laser screwdriver plans? Do I have to have bad karma to get it?

Anonymous said...

i dont know but i wish i had it hey someone put a video about all the locations of the sacmatics (sorry for bad spelling)

Anonymous said...

is anyone else having problems getting the first flight to work?

Anonymous said...

Not for me. What is the problem exactly?

Liam said...

I've waited since the first day of announcement of this mod to play it, since day-freaking-one. Downloading F:NV, I will play it before I sleep. Even if it kills me tomorrow morning.

Anonymous said...

I will hit all the right controls, it makes the tardis sound, and 50/50 chance the center piece moves up and down, but i have yet to get it to complete. It either keeps looping the sound, or it stops the sound with the room still vibrating.

Anonymous said...

So you hit the right pattern of controls to intiate random flight, and then nothing happens? You don't get prompted to hit more stuff?

Anonymous said...

nope, it just spams the tardis sound until the sound eventually stops but the console keeps moving.

Anonymous said...

what is supposed to be pressed afterwards?

Anonymous said...

Guess it's a glitch. try reloading your game, or try replaying the mod.

Anonymous said...

The console tells you the pattern to intiate random flight, and then after wheezing, the column will go up and down. Then messages once in a while will appear telling you to hit some random control, and that keeps happening until you are told the tardis has dematerialized.

TheHynes24 said...

Is the silence in Wave 1 like in the trailer or have they to been moved back to Wave 3?

Thank you Demeggy and Spyduck. I have been following this project for quite some time (Last Child of Gallifey Post-release) and this day has been a great day. You two have created something truly wonderful, and at great cost too. You have my eternal thanks and admiration. - Will

THIS IS AWESOME! Flying the TARDIS feels exactly like it should! And the hallways are so confusing, I love it. You did a great job, an unbelievably great job.

Unknown said...

Anonymous said...

I hope someone makes a map for the tardis, i keep getting lost in it looking for the new rooms and the lazer screwdriver schematic.

Anonymous said...

did anyone find the lazer schematic i want it and i am about to get to the final level and going to get the final upgrade does anyone know what it does?

Anonymous said...

I'm having a problem with the gravity shafts, every time I try to jump in on it just boosts me up then let's me fall, then it keeps pulling me so I can't move. Any help?

Where is the Coral Console Room.

Anonymous said...

You have to enable it on the tardis computer (The screen that hands down over the keyboard)Its in Dimensional config and then configure primary control room

Dionysus said...

Waited like a year for this and it seems I'm the only person that can't get it to work.
What a surpise...

Tried everything so far, ajdusting loading order, re-installing the whole game, have the missing mesh, have NSVE, have the FOMM, slept for like 240 hours at least.
Nothing.

You Have To Turn It On In The Data Files To turn the Mod On Than Use NSVE Just Click That Try Sleeping In A Bed U Own.

I Wish i had the doctors suit in game i feel like theres nothing that feels that hole on my fallout every clothing sucks for my doctor :(

Anonymous said...

I'm in slow mo even though I repaired all the parts any suggestions on how to fix this?

Anonymous said...

For everyone having trouble getting the mod to work heres how it happens:
Use the launcher that came with new vegas script extender after installing the mod and its patch with FOMM, then start a new game. After all the crap with doc mitchell wait inside his house facing the front door. After it gives you the list of quests that just got unlocked wait about 10 seconds in the same spot and the tardis will pop up. Also be sure and install new vegas script extender manually in the main directory of the game unlike fallout who and its patch which should be installed with FOMM.
