Team FWV is Recruiting

We're looking for experienced modellers, texturers and scripters to contribute as part of the team on the mod. We have some pretty large expansions coming up, and need all the help we can get.

FWV is a hefty piece of work and as such requires availability and above all, experience. We don't have the time to train up inexperienced individuals, so if you modded for Fallout/Oblivion in the past and have a vague interest in Doctor Who or adding something knew to your portfolio, get in touch via the forum.

Please spread the word; the quicker we get a functioning team up and running, the quicker we can roll out these incredibly exciting updates.

I have no experience in modelling, but if you're looking for voice actors, I'm willing to volunteer.

I wish I could help, but my modding skills stops at adding a new landing zone in the geck :S

Have you tried asking around at other places, like making a post over on the Fallout Nexus forums? I'm sure they'd be a few people over there who would want to help out :)

Just some random speculation, ignore my comment if you want nothing to do with that stuff.

So, is there some overarching story in this mod where the doctor was tardised to the wasteland, an alternate timeline, leaves the tardis hidden in the scrapyard, gets mistaken for the courier, or perhaps finds the chip, decides to deliver it, or something, gets shot in the head, loses his memory, and now is being visited by his future self to rescue himself from this world, the only reason the paradox is being risked is because it HAS to happen because he went back before?

I have no skill in modding apart from very subtle alterations to existing mods, but, I'd also like to volunteer for voice acting if possible.

i did originally voice my own companion that i made :)
i was told i was pretty good :D
he was a gentleman companion
i never uploaded him to the nexus so please dont confuse my mod with anything similar

I would be willing to help too. No knowledge of modding but I'd be willing to test, do voice acting, designing maybe a map for each level in the TARDIS

I've got experience in texturing of sorts, spent more than a countable amount of time in photoshop. If you feel like you might need help in those regards, feel free to throw me a line and I'll see what i can do for you. I'm very interested to see what becomes of this mod later in its life, and would love to be a part of it!

And don't worry, I've done work on slightly more than copyright infringing signatures for forums, which is all people seem to brag about these days...

i cant go into the tardis 2, I do the mission to start it and all that, it works, but the second time I go in it, without fail on many accounts, the tardis is tiny, the transdimensional control keeps braking I could say, any ideas?

This post isn't related but i think my fallout who is broke, the space-time throttle is to be precise it wont let me use it to start flight i do everything right and then that doesn't work PLEASE HELP!

Matthew, open your console, click on the throttle, type in 'setdestroyed 0' (no inverted quotations).

Your console is ~, if you can't go into your console there might be a problem. To solve this, go into 'hardware and sound' in your control manager. Open the Device Manager. Scroll down to human interface devices, scroll down to Microsoft eHome Infared Transceiver. Right-click, then uninstall. You should be able to use the console now. NOTE: you will have to do this everytime you boot your computer to access the console.

Is their any possible way this mod could be compatible with the Tale of Two Wastelands that merges Fallout 3 with fallout new vegas.

Arcanum said...

Not related to topic but, I noticed a bug when playing around in fallout who

If you turn off the architectural reconfiguration, it will not go back on, even if you enable it again it will still not go back on, it does this with the communications as well, I don't know if I'm missing something, I'm running it with the latest patch.
