Fallout Who Vegas: Teaser 1#

Okay,

so here's your first batch of teaser images. Just simple static images of the TARDIS in landing around the Mojave. With a couple of extras goodies, including snippet footage of early stage custom Vortex Flight... Don't go expecting info from me just yet...

The Features list is coming along nicely, and I have to say it's really enjoyable to launch the ships randomiser and end up somewhere brand new every time, a difference to the mod's predecessor.

What do you think? Excited? Curious? Comments welcome as per usual,

Kris

Well you won my amazement at just making a mod with a little blue police box, but i gotta say it sounds like we're gettin the whole wibbly-wobbly time space package....

Wow, the screens are incredible on their own, but the above script brings the awesome factor up to 11! Best mod ever. Fact.

The console room desktop theme is a pipedream at the moment, but it isn't far off in theory. It's not in the current build of features for New Vegas, but you will be able to customise the way the console room appears within your own game to add that personal touch.

Mega, nice to see you again, all I'll say for now is that something very nasty has followed the TARDIS into the Fallout Universe...

Hi Dean,

apologies, I don't tend to the youtube channel as often as I should these days.

If you're indeed having issues surrounding installing the mod and youre getting red boxing issues, you havent set the files up in the right directories.

If you follow the readme to a t, you shouldn't have any problems

Thanks and keep following :)

so the tennant/ecclestone theme isnt currently in the build?
I hope it will be included as im not to fond of the smith console room?

A question for the time vortex external cam teaser pic, will we see the TARDIS getting thrown about, spinning, and getting hit by random lightning strikes?

That would make the whole thing 2x awesome :)

DeMeggy: I know you've abandoned Fallout Who in favor of this new mod, but you /might/ want to take a peek at the comments people are leaving @ Fallout Nexus. A fair quantity of people are having serious issues with it (as am I). We're using FOSE, we're using FOMM (including FOMM's archive invalidation method), and we still have metric asstons of red triangles, bad meshes/textures, etc. Please--this is (from the videos you've posted, as I've never been able to play it) an excellent mod, and clearly an enormous amount of work has gone into it. Take a look, I beg of you.

Come on the Steam Punk!!!
I love the original TARDIS interior, but the Movie one was real special. Not a big fan of the Matt Smith one. Too much like the inside of an Indian take away. Dont get me wrong about the original ones, I just like my TARDIS more chaotic, but not in a "ate three boxes of kinder surprise (including toy) then threw up in this blue box that appeared from nowhere" sort of thingy.

Anyway, judging by the response most like the most recent version, but as the village idiot said to the milk maid in a desperate attempt to score with her
"Sometimes, simpler is better"

Please release this Mod ASAP, or I shall invert the coaxial syntax from the sine of 33 and revert to cohabitation on the fractal spectral crystal, throw a wobbly and blow up the whole damn thing...so there

He releases the mod when he feels it is finished and ready. Not when people tell him to :P

Would you rather have a buggy maybe unplayable unfinished version, or a polished up, actually working and 2x awesome version?

MegaUnoriginal said...

how nasty is this entity?

Kris said...

:) Can appreciate youre excitement, really can, but I need it to be pitch perfect, bug free and fun before I release.

As for the TARDIS Console Room... I'll keep a lid on that for now.

And as for the Big Nasty which follows the TARDIS through, I can't say anymore... just, don't presume too much. You'll be pleasantly suprised.

While I want Matt's Interior the most, I would like to see the original interior as well! That is, as long as you add in those food bars from Edge Of Destruction...

Kris said...

All I can say is wait and see...

MegaUnorginal said...

will the entity be from Doctor who or fallout 3?

oh and someone on the doctor who site wrote about you, you're getting famous

Certainly I understand the need to be sure that the MOD doesn't kill a thousand games on release. Im just wondering. Is there an estimate to when this MAY be ready. No pressure...is it ready yet?...what about now?
:)

Wow - Blimey, I'm really happy with the coverage and support I'm getting over this. I remember when LCOG was released, and my housemate and I were convinced it would flop. It was in the top 10 for a month on the Nexus and got coverage on a variety of modding sites that I didn't even know about until I googled it, so I was really suprised.

Expect a post up about this soon.

Release date, in time for Series 6 would have been stonking, it all depends on how quickly the modelling comes together now I suppose. We're a stones throw away from perfect basic features, so I'll have to keep an eye on how the rest of it goes.

Cheers, Kris
