The Monster Mash

Hi all,

well progress with a core feature (a unique minigame) has come along swimmingly. As a result, the next few weeks will take a bit of a different turn with the project, as I laiden my skills back to the Max and conjure up a menagerie of interesting 'creature' meshes.

That's right... this means monsters are making an appearance.

To wow factor my wonderful audience with the host of deadly baddies you'll face off against in the Mojave, I'll be putting up a very open development log put in place as a "Monster Codec".

Expect a variety of familiar alien faces.

And as a teaser, one's already in game and running smoothly.

Expect more,

Kris

ah you're all too kind. I wouldnt have carried on if I didnt have the support so it's 50/50!

As for the console room, I can inform you it isn't Smith's (too intricate).

Screens and new content will become more available over the next few weeks, and I'm hoping to get some early rendered images of the first fully customised creatures up by Sunday.

Any chance you can make it so that we operate the TARDIS to a few pre-set locations? I know in Last Child of Gallifrey I was very frustrated trying to get it to land in Rivet City. Much thanks would be given.

There may be an option available, I haven't quite decided yet. The datastores have made a return, so you can save locations, and they've been fine tuned so it's more easy to maintain this time.

Two questions:
1. Will we be able to regenerate from the get go?
2. If we can regenerate, is there any fix for the bug where it wont let us fast travel due to taking damage?

Regeneration does become a feature, as and when, couldn't say.

Bugwise, completely free. It's got a newly implemented feature that irradicates the previous issues and prevents you from being relentlessly targeted by enemies post-regeneration.
