Big Changes...

Big Changes.

A lot of people would be inclined to comment and say it's a fickle old world, but, it truly is. After much deliberation and issue over the quest accompaying Out of Time, we've had a complete rethink of plot and strategy and have gone back to basics.

The very same lifecycle that occured with The Last Child of Gallifrey has indeed happened to Out of Time, and it would appear from past experience, is for the better.

So, without further ado, we'd like to prepare you all for a new take of Fallout Who Vegas.

More details will be coming soon, but don't worry. Content remains constant, and the only changes making place are to the quest itself and not the project.

We'll release info over the weekend.

At first I was like "SAY WHAT?", but then I realized that you guys were just talking about the plot, and not the mechanics/code/meshes/etc... and relaxed ALOT! Well all I have to say is if Fallout Who team thinks its for the best, then that's what it is.....

Halfway through the first sentence, I thought you were going to cancel the project and was about to spit out my water! But reworking plot and quests are, if you think it is best, is best.

Aww, would be fun if you guys could include the script for the original plot as an easter egg/extra when the mod is released - That is if the new plot will have changed completely compared to the old one!

Not that I'm getting impatient but does this mean the mod will take more time to develop?

I think it means that the mod will be quicker to develop but overall shorter which is a shame as i was expecting a full blow quest but i guess i'll have to settle with a shorter quest. Good Work :)

I have a question will parts on the TARDIS move i.e leavers when you activate them and the time rotter will that move?

M12Sarge said...

Yea that would make the TARDIS more fun to pilot

Many many questions :)

To name but a few;

the project quest is being rewritten to allow us to focus on a higher level of quality, so you guys get the best gameplay.

At current, no release date is even thought of, and it'll be a good few months at the very least until we're ready to offload to the public. Many commitments pend for such a small team, work, lives etc and we're trying to keep on top of it as best we can :)

Animated console? Sure, as you may have seen in some of the preview vids, the Time Rotor sure does move during flight, as done some of the levers and gizmos around the console.

We're working hard against a tide of constant schedule to bring you new stuff, so have faith.
