Exciting Times

Well we've had possibly the most productive week in the 2 years I've been working on the New Vegas platform. I won't go into any specific detail as we don't want to ruin it, but change has happened, and something much bigger and better than you were expecting has happened.
As a testimony to our sheer dedication, I hit the hay at around 1am and left Spyduck to fix some broken script.
Upon my return this morning, he's worked through the night and, well, we have a lot of work done.

We'll drip feed info shortly, but for now, I just wanted to indicate my sheer excitement at what's coming along, and to also spoiler tease this...

Just a quick question, what modelling package do you use to make this?

I have quite a bit of free time coming up so I thought I might try it out, and yes it looks amazing well done.

Demeggy, Spyduck, anyone and everyone who works on Fallout Who: I really hope you read this. It's people like you who are the reason I want to get into game design. All of you are incredible! 2 years on and your work is still mindblowing!

An Avid Fan: I (hello, I'm the modeler) use 3DS Max and the niftools exporter. For texturing I mostly use GIMP (yeah, I know).

Blender would work in place of Max, Photoshop in place of GIMP, etc. It's best to use whatever you're best at, I think.
