Nov 24

Well wow,

wasn't that a spectacular anniversary special? Not only did it pack in both the Zygons and the Daleks, but delivered us a big old slab of the Time War, delivered a regeneration (to be expected I guess?), and managed to reinvigorate the series with a rather something special (spoilers).
So what does this hold for the mod? Nothing new; we carry on as expected. I'm glad with the direction the show's now taking, as it allows me to be a little more flexible with the lore.

In terms of development, things are taking a bit of a slowdown. I have a qualification exam coming up in the next few weeks that I must focus on (any experienced PRINCE2 Project Manager's out there want to offer up some advice?), and I believe SpyDuck is entertaining, so all things in all, we're not focusing on the mod right now.

Let that be said, we're not putting it to sleep or anything so dramatic. Just prioritising life, as per usual.

Development with this seems to come and go in peaks and troughs, and as such, there's never going to really be a time when I confirm a release date. It'll come when it's ready.

Dev wise, I can confirm that the mod's narrative has taken something of a rewrite, so I'd like you to patiently think of the current public build as being something of a byline, precursor. There's so much more to come.

Until my next update,

D

Ah, thanks for finaly getting an update from you, and I'm glad you enjoyed the anniversary as much as I did. Sad that the mod isn't done yet, it sure would have made this an even better anniversary, but of course life comes first, so I wish you good luck, and patiently wait for another update.

Cheers! ;D

The Day of the Doctor was absolutely amazing, glad you enjoyed it as well! I hope you do well on your exam/test though!

Looking forward for your next update. :)

Demeggy, I've been thinking, when you depart, you will leave a hole in the Fallout Who community, and without you we will miss out on so many things, one thing that comes to mind is, who will be sending out updates on the status of the mod? Hopefully there will be no worries. Anyway, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy Who Year

Just remember he has his exam "in the next few weeks" so at the time that was wrote, that's round about now. So I doubt we'll get any updates for the next week or so at least

Good luck with the exam, D

Will you do the newest TARDIS interior?

Guys I would expect Demeggy to update on Christmas since it is "The Time Of The Doctor, so keep a look out.

I really wish the tardis was real, then I could just time-travel to the next update

That.. That right there... ^^^^^^

If the TARDIS was real I really don't think I'd be using it to pretend I have a TARDIS...

I'm hoping we get an update by the 5th of Jan, I feel like it has been an age since we last heard from team FW

I'm sure D and Spyduck are both very busy IRL, and afterall this is a very big and time consuming project they have going...

Although just a suggestion, maybe releasing the mod in waves, like first planned could be a good idea? Since it would give us something like regeneration to chew on for the meantime...

Unknown said...

Demeggy said he was leaving thats why he isn't doing waves

The Templar said...

I know he said there was going to be no more waves, but maybe a mini-release wouldn't be a bad idea all in all

The Ultimate Noob said...

He said he was leaving and instead of doing waves they were going to just combine them all into one big release. Hence why this is taking so long (although no updates for this long is troubling, I'll admit).
